Let’s call this a sabbatical. Or leave of absence, maybe?

So, obviously I haven’t written in a very long time.

Reader’s digest version: I had a terrible summer in terms of my real life and many things fell by the wayside, including writing. Am I over this difficult period? Not sure, honestly. But I’m doing the best I can, and that’s that.

The upside to my decision to quite blogging temporarily is that I actually watched, and enjoyed, anime. Woah! Crazy, I know. I think my break from the self-imposed pressure to write about the anime I watched freed me up to enjoy it a bit more. Also, since I stopped writing and doing other things I should have been doing, I had more time with which to watch anime. So that’s been pretty neat, actually. I may even write a brief summary of what I watched. Or I may not.

So what I really wanted to say was that I’m still around, but in a lesser capacity. I’m reading some anime/manga blogs, but not many. I’m still figuring some real-life things out, and we’ll have to see where this takes me in terms of writing and this blog. So that’s where I’m at!
